LEVELLING THE PRIVILAGES

What do you have in mind when you see a LGBT sex? At first you will think that they can’t do anything right by just looking at their appearances. Others think that they should be kicked out of our community. And furthermore, you don’t have trust over them.

But first let us understand the meaning of LGBT.
LGBT (or GLBT) is an initialism that collectively refers to "lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender" people. In use since the 1990s, the term "LGBT" is an adaptation of the initialism "LGB", which itself started replacing the phrase "gay community" beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s, which many within the community in question felt did not accurately represent all those to whom it referred.

As stated above, LGBT was already been recognized since 1990. And there some communities that hasn’t been pointed with the referred sex.

There are people, places, or religions that hate LGBT. Because they thought that they the destroyers of their community. And due to their actions, the LGBT community rallied to the government that they should also have fair respect to them. All they want is respect.

But, there is a story that a GAY thinks that he was a disgrace of the LGBT community.
“Ok im a gay guy of 19. Im out to my friends even though im really uncomfortable with being gay. I find it hard accepting it but anyways we went out a few nights ago and i got really really drunk, to the point that i could remember nothing the next morning. They said i made a total idiot of myself and i said homophobic remarks; ''gay people are pathetic'' , ''and i would beat up a gay person''..

When my friends told me this my heart sank..cause im not homophobic and im gay also!! Now everyone things im a homophobe!! :( Is it cause im finding it hard to accept myself that i went on this idiotic rant?? Please help!! Thanks ..” he said.

Other’s said that the reason of his outrage was to much drinking of alcohol. And I too agree with that reason. Because excessive intake of alcohol is bad to the body and makes you do things that you don’t remember.

Now, there is a Filipino show that stars GAYS. Titled “Zombadings 1: Patayin Sa Shokot si Remington.” This movie lifted some negative thought for gays. Because people who watched it wasn’t disappointed, but they laughed every 10 minutes of the show. And this movie marked a message that gay’s are fighting to uplift their privileges.
And also that there is a Philippine American Embassy celebrated LGBT Pride Month.  Boy Abonda, Atty. Christine Sun, and US Ambassador Harry Thomas attended the said event.

There’s a quotation that President Obama personally said to the LGBT:
“You are not alone.  You didn’t do anything wrong.  You didn’t do anything to deserve being bullied.  And there is a whole world waiting for you, filled with possibilities. There are people out there who love you and care about you just the way you are. And so, if you ever feel like because of bullying, because of what people are saying, that you’re getting down on yourself, you’ve got to make sure to reach out to people you trust. Whether it’s your parents, teachers, folks that you know care about you just the way you are. You’ve got to reach out to them,  don’t feel like you’re in this by yourself.”

This simple events and sayings gave LGBT courage to take a new life. Yet, other LGBT’s out there has been given a chance but they act for their own needs or start to do wrong doings.

So now, Everyone is leveled in the eyes of the government.
